IT’S A WRAP - 2024
As we wrap up another incredible year at House of Forme, we’re beyond excited to share our achievements from the past year. 2024 has been a significant year for us, as we’ve expanded both internally and externally despite the tough economic climate. From entering our first trade show to bringing home multiple awards and recognitions, our portfolio has also expanded internationally, welcoming notable new global clients. Additionally, our residential projects have seen significant growth, adapting to the evolving market needs.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing team, clients, and partners who have made this year a great success. We look forward to even more opportunities that lie ahead.
Moments to Remember.
2024 has been a pivotal year for House of Forme, filled with exciting collaborations and innovative projects. We kicked off the year with the launch of NECTAR, a premium shisha brand in Shanghai, known for its unique taste experiences and commitment to cultural appreciation. House of Forme collaborated with NECTAR on their brand concept, visual identity, and collateral designs.
Working with Bibigo Bapsang, a quick-service K-food restaurant developed by leading hospitality group Lai Sun Dining and Korea's top food company, CJ CheilJedang, has allowed us to explore new territory. As their first global flagship, we are immensely proud to be part of their journey, contributing to everything from brand development and interior design to bespoke FF&E design. Our goal is to create a unique venue that seamlessly blends convenience with quality K-Food for today’s fast-paced lifestyle.
We also partnered with Menya Kanki, a Japanese culinary concept in ELEMENTS Mall, Hong Kong, developed by the esteemed Marimo Restaurant Group. Inspired by traditional Japanese Ama divers, Menya Kanki offers exquisite seafood-based ramen. Our team handled their brand concept, identity design, collateral development, and interior design for their first store, delivering an immersive Sea-to-Table dining experience.
This creative energy extended to the opening of two venues for MAYA x The Cakery, Hong Kong's first artisanal vegan bakery and cakery. Located in IFC Mall, their grab & go shop is a cozy 135 sq ft space that radiates warmth and comfort with organic shapes and nature-inspired hues reminiscent of a birdhouse. We maximized every inch with soaring shelves, playful displays, and innovative lighting to create a whimsical atmosphere. In contrast, their Tai Koo location offers a more spacious layout, allowing distinct bakery, cakery and seating sections. Both interiors celebrate community and togetherness, drawing inspiration from the migratory nature of small birds to showcase veganism as a guilt-free everyday pleasure.
Midway through the year, we celebrated the completion of our repositioning project with Dawn Atelier & Academy (DA&A) and the opening of their new gallery space in H Queen's, Central, which champions fine craftsmanship. Our team also designed the identity for their first exhibition- "Craft For", uniting Hong Kong artisans to celebrate a decade of craftsmanship and expanding the focus beyond jewellery to include both makers and learners.
Lustre Adamantine, a new diamond jewellery brand under the same group, specializes in Modern and Modified Antique diamonds. We contributed to the brand's identity design as well as packaging, emphasizing its commitment to craftsmanship and offering one-of-a-kind pieces featuring precious stones, including vintage gems with rich histories.
In the third quarter, we launched MINATO, developed by Langham Hospitality Group & Great Eagle Holdings Ltd, one of Hong Kong's leading property companies. Inspired by the "Ma" philosophy, we designed a comprehensive identity system that captures the balance between land and sea, complemented by minimalist branding materials that enhance the overall dining experience and interiors by local legend SLD.
Our portfolio also expanded with the renovation of Ki's Roasted Goose Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, where we created a design that celebrates Hong Kong's culinary heritage. We also developed a suite of corporate and festive materials for larger scale clients such as Lanson Place, Citadel, HongKong Jockey Club and Kadoorie to name a few. Our passion drives us toward perfection, excelling not only in commercial spaces but also in residential areas. We are excited to announce several new residential projects designed to meet diverse living needs, ranging from 500 to 1,800 square feet. Whether for bachelors, couples, or families, we ensure comfort and convenience every step of the way.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the launch of a year long UI-UX design project for Hongkong Land Centricity app—an exclusive tenant engagement platform that enhances the workday for tenants with unique access to a full suite of amenities. More importantly, a platform designed to allow them to connect with the wider Central community.
We also designed a comprehensive wayfinding system for TX Huaihai Mall, featuring 6 floors of modern directory boards and directional signage that enhance visitor navigation while complementing the mall's unique curated retail concept. We are also excited to continue our journey with MIST, a hookah lounge in Shenzhen, where we helped expand their beverage offerings into fast consumable products.
Last but not least, we are excited to announce that after two years of dedicated effort, our full service project for DOCK 1A is set to open in February, where we transformed a 10-storey, 56,000 sq ft industrial building into a modern lifestyle community hub in the heart of Sai Kung. This destination will feature a diverse range of shops, dining, and entertainment options, complete with ample parking facilities. This project aligns perfectly with our vision of enhancing local lifestyles. Similarly, inspired by Hong Kong's 3:15 afternoon tea culture, the opening of our first full service project in Shenzhen 再叙三点三, will be opening its doors later this month, serving as a sanctuary for customers to escape their routines and connect with nature in the hustle and bustle of Longhua District.
One Team One Dream.
Alongside such amazing projects, the opportunity to engage in trade shows and win awards was a significant moment we had eagerly anticipated. The Euro Fair trade show marked our first Shanghai exhibition, where our team managed everything from site setup to extensive client servicing. It was an amazing opportunity to showcase our work to a new audience and meet like minded people from vendors, peers, and new clients alike. We are over the moon to announce the inclusion of our Founder on Home Journal’s TOP 50 in Hong Kong, alongside internationally renowned industry giants like Steve Leung, Andre Fu and Cheng Chung to name a few. This year, we also participated in our first & only awards competition, proudly bringing home two accolades from Home Journal Awards: the Gold Award for Spa & Wellness with The Slow TKO and the Bronze Award for our TP Residence project.
A Look Into 2025.
As we reflect on 2024, we celebrate not only the completion of numerous projects but also unexpected milestones that pave the way for an exciting future. Looking ahead, we foresee a busy year with on-going projects both internally and externally. Stay tuned for the launch of a two floor office space- reshaping what offices look like post pandemic, a modern lifestyle golf brand designed for and by golfers, a year long consumer brand soon to be available in all major supermarkets, and our first mega show in Shenzhen, just to hint a few.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our clients and supporters as we complete this chapter, as their partnership and trust have made our journey not only feasible but genuinely remarkable. Cheers to a year full of success, accomplishment, and opportunity for everyone.
Thank you 2024 and bring on 2025!
