SALON LANSON

A Homey Sanctuary.

Nestled in the lively heart of Causeway Bay, Lanson Place is a French-inspired luxury boutique hotel that exudes heritage elegance and serves as a tranquil sanctuary in the bustling city. With an inviting ambience that evokes a sense of home, it offers guests a serene escape from the frenetic pace of urban life.

Capturing the essence of refined luxury, Salon Lanson is the hotel’s latest exclusive dining lounge redesigned by renowned French interior designer, Pierre-Yves Rochon. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a spacious and luminous environment, where every moment is savoured amidst world-class hospitality.

House of Forme worked with Lanson Place on Salon Lanson’s brand identity design, and collaterals development.

Understated Opulence.

Salon Lanson is a versatile lounge space that seamlessly transitions from a sunlit brunch spot to an atmospheric haven for evening jazz and cocktails, allowing guests to enjoy lasting memories at any time of day. To complement this versatility, we have curated a series of bespoke menus and coasters that perfectly capture the lounge's understated luxury and sophisticated ambiance.

The iconic golden crane artwork adorning the space's ceiling has served as the muse for our design's key visual element. Our luxurious coasters are meticulously handcrafted with extra thick caviar leather offering water resistance and stick-proof properties. Customized in Lanson Place's signature deep green and light stone hues, they are elegantly debossed with delicate crane silhouettes and gilded with a gold foil logo, seamlessly blending with the surrounding environment to create a sense of opulence and cohesion.

The allure of the space's understated grandeur is reflected in our menu designs, where minimalistic and intricate elements intertwine, drawing inspiration from the elegant lines of French architecture, calligraphy, and clean typography. Each menu is distinguished by a colour-coded cover system, featuring deep nature green, sage, and light stone designs that echo Lanson Place's primary palette and overall brand ambiance. Imbued with sophistication, the Salon Lanson title is elegantly rendered in the hotel's bespoke typeface, Le Beaune. While the menus are constructed from FSC-certified paper and secured with exquisite golden screws, symbolizing our dedication to sustainability and allowing for effortless menu updates.

Connecting Guests and Beyond To The Local Fabric.

In showcasing Salon Lanson's exquisite daily cocktail menu, we decided to eschew a generic menu booklet and designed a collection of seven intricately illustrated postcards, each dedicated to a specific day of the week. Each post card is embellished with realistic hand-drawn depictions of cocktail ingredients and the iconic architecture and cultural tapestry of the surrounding neighbourhood by our in-house illustrators. Far beyond mere keepsakes, these postcards serve as heartfelt mementos for hotel guests to dispatch to their loved ones abroad, while also doubling as a charming pocket-sized city guide for tourists exploring the vibrant tapestry of the city.

Not only are these postcards printed on premium FSC-certified paper, they are also accompanied by a personalized message on the reverse side, allowing guests to convey their delightful experiences at Lanson Place and the splendid wonders of Hong Kong to their loved ones.
