In partnership with HongKong Land, a developer with a long, respected history in Hong Kong, we have revitalized their lifestyle platform app, Centricity by HongKong Land. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience for their diverse demographic, bringing together dining, event spaces, workspaces, and exclusive member privileges into one easily accessible platform for the Central community.

Convenience & Luxury in One App

The revitalised Centricity app brings a modern sense of luxury to the Central lifestyle, providing convenient access to all services and benefits in one place.

The app’s landing page celebrates HongKong Land’s historical and cultural legacy. A Bauhaus-style graphic of five signature HongKong Land buildings in Central: Edinburgh Tower, Three Exchange Square, Jardine House, Alexandra House, and Charter House provides a clean, contemporary aesthetic, creating a strong brand expression from the moment of access.

The Centricity app's intuitive UI draws inspiration from the rounded details of the Centricity logo. Rounded corners are consistently applied to thumbnails and grids, creating a cohesive brand experience with an energetic touch. Bespoke brand icons, buttons, and smart indicators are strategically implemented to optimize both the functionality and design of the homepage.

 
 
 
 

Designed for Connection & Personality

Understanding the diverse needs of HongKong Land’s community, we infused the Centricity app with a memorable personality. A collection of hand-drawn characters, a mix of reimagined existing Centricity illustrations and brand new designs, created with varying brushstrokes to visually represent different app pages. This humanistic and modern touch fosters a deeper connection with HongKong Land's tenants across all age groups, making the platform more relatable.

The illustrations have been meticulously designed to maximise user engagement and experience. By emphasizing movement in the characters, user interaction is encouraged. The characters' everyday attire highlights the diverse offerings within the Centricity app, from flexible workspaces to lifestyle amenities, spotlighting the convenience and connectivity of this all-in-one platform. These quirky yet sensible illustrations not only bring a fresh impression but also provide a refreshing energy into the existing app.

 
 
 
 

Exploring Central through Centricity

The core function of the app includes, but is not limited to food ordering within the HongKong Land community, signing up to curated programs like yoga and social events, accessing a live transport feed for a smooth commute journey, renting flexible office spaces, and accessing members’ privilege. The diverse functions make sure the Centricity app’s users’ wellbeing is catered for and are able to make the best out of this HongKong Land community.

Echoing the modern luxury of Central and maximizing the UI experience, we have implemented modern outline iconography to balance aesthetics and functionality. Clear status indicators have been added to the bottom of each event or activity, providing users with essential information at a glance. Bespoke elements, such as personalised usernames and event thumbnails, adds a unique touch. To tailor the app to individual needs, users can also personalise their quick access menu for fast and convenient access to their most used functions.
